Nicolas was born and spent his childhood in the Parisian region, then moved to Montpellier at 10 years old. He developed a passion for computer science and cinema and started teaching himself video editing and experimenting digital special effects.
Following an IUT degree in Computing, he studied at ArtFx where he learned the practice of photography and the rudiments of the image’s work, the scenario, the direction, the editing, … He then decided to put his studies on hold some time to travel and unwind.
After traveling through Brazil alone for several months, he returned to France, determined to make a career out of his passion for the image industry.
Graduate of Gobelins in 2014, he began working as an independent photographer. Self-taught, he quickly integrates video to his projects to complete them and experiment editing and calibration in depth.
His cinema references inspire him and give him a constant desire to tell stories, to find meaning in things.
His passion for travel and discovery taught him to take the time to see, to wait, to grasp moments, to give importance to small imperceptible things.
For Nicolas, video is another way of communicating, remembering, telling. The know-how exists only to let instinct speak.
